Last nights' vernissage at the Beaux Arts in Carcassonne - much speechifying as is the french custom but a jolly good expo too, open for a couple of months and highly recommended. Its ain't Raoul Dufy as we all know him, its an eclectic selection of odd bits - a few interiors etc - but many surprises, like a lot of his designs for fabric. And here is a section from his study for the vast mural to the fairy of electricity...
and one of his 'black boats' from Sete - below which are Bob and John and Kat having dinner in the Old Stables (l'Ecurie). Great evening, all in all :)
