This striking image is to remind (or inform) you about the new fire alarm laws. Andree told me today that we are obliged to have fire alarms on every floor of our homes and they must be in place before 8th March. Reciepts for the purchase of the alarms should be sent to your insurers.
-----However; Steve P. thinks that this only applies to rented-out property.
I don't know. Given the fires that have devastated lives locally it seems to be sensible to just do it.

Snow is falling but the real problem is the freezing wind, really cutting and unpleasent. Word is that all will be well by Sunday when spring commences. Can't wait :)
